Bastille offers a series of intimate dinners on the rooftop from June through September on most Mondays and Tuesdays. Full buy-outs of a rooftop dinner (for 10-12 guests) are a great way to celebrate a birthday or anniversary! The evening begins in the Bastille front bar where guests receive a cocktail featuring Rooftop garden ingredients to accompany them on their Rooftop Garden tour. Dinner is held under a cabana with curtains that can be left open or closed, as weather dictates. The family-style meals will highlight ingredients harvested right from our garden and the menu changes weekly. The evenings vary in length but are typically wrapped up by 9:30pm.

The fine print: All sales final. Dinner happens rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, dinner will be held in the beautiful Terrace at Bastille.

These intimate dinners are limited to 12 guests. Cost is $175/person + tax and includes dinner and wine, paired by Bastille's sommelier team, plus a rooftop cocktail and garden tour at 5:45pm. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm. Gratuity is included in the ticket price.

The Rooftop Dinner Series is ideal for adventurous eaters and wine lovers. We utilize the bounty of the Rooftop Garden and Bastilles wine cellars to create a unique, shared experience for our Rooftop Garden dinner guests. Due to the nature of this experience, as well as the logistics of the unique setting, we are limited in our ability to accommodate customized dishes and pairings for Rooftop Dinner guests. We request advance notice of any dietary restrictions and are unable to accommodate strict restrictions such as vegan diets, medical diets, or severe food allergies. If you or your guests do not intend to participate in wine pairings, we may be limited in our ability to customize other beverage pairings, but with advance notice, will be happy to offer alternative options on a case by case basis. Our regular menus will also be made available for guests who wish to purchase additional food or beverages.

Bastille’s commitment to organic, sustainable agriculture is unstinting. We source our product from local farmers and purveyors whenever possible. Nowhere is this commitment more evident than on our own roof: we’ve installed a 4,500 square foot garden of raised-bed planter boxes where we grow our own lettuces and herbs. Installed and maintained by Colin McCrate of Seattle Urban Farm Company, the boxes are irrigated and heated to keep us in fresh greens throughout the year. You can find our products across the menus in various dishes and cocktails. Bastille offers tours of the Rooftop Garden every Monday & Tuesday from mid-June through mid-September at 5:30pm for $10pp. The tour includes a complimentary rooftop-inspired cocktail (available alcohol-free).
