Bastille Café & Bar offers several venues for parties of 10 or more. The communal table in Bastille’s dining room can accommodate groups up to 18; the Back Bar can accommodate groups up to 40.
Due to the number of inquiries we receive for large parties, we request that you review the policies appropriate to the size of your group in the venue of your choice. Click on one of the following:
- Large party reservations are taken at 6PM or 9PM. The Large Party Table is reserved for 3 hours. Parties booked for 6pm are encouraged to arrive promptly.
- Parties of 10 or more must sign an Advance Reservation Form, provide a credit card number and phone number.
- The Advance Registration Form requires a $40 per person charge to secure the reservation.
- The deposit is a charge against food and beverage purchased, not a “space” or “table charge.”
- If the party fails to purchase the equivalent of $40 in food and beverage, the balance will appear on the guest check as a surcharge.
- The deposit/base charge of $40 per person does not include tax or gratuity.
- An 18% gratuity will be added to the pre-tax total of the bill.
- Bastille will not provide separate checks for a large party.
- Bastille reserves the right to seat the party where it chooses but agrees to do everything possible to accommodate the host’s request (for example, on the patio).
- Bastille reserves the right not to accept a large party reservation request if, in the restaurant’s sole discretion, it cannot accommodate the party.
- Menu selection consists of a choice of items from the Large Party Menu served “family-style.” (No substitutions will be accommodated.)
- Customers are prohibited by law from bringing spirits (hard liquor) into the restaurant.
- Bastille strongly discourages large parties from bring their own wine to the restaurant but will permit it with a manager’s approval. The usual corkage fee of $25/750 ml. bottle ($40/magnum) applies to any wine brought into the restaurant.
- Bastille does not permit a large party to decorate the restaurant. Table decorations are permitted (with the exception of confetti). Noisemakers of any kind, private music, or performances (striptease, or otherwise) are not permitted.
- The Cancellation Policy consists of the following:
- 100% refund if cancellation is received 72 hours prior;
- 50% refund if cancellation is received 48 hours prior;
- 25% refund if cancellation is received 24 hours prior;
- Forfeit of deposit if cancellation is received less than 24 hours prior or if party fails to honor reservation.

- A special menu can be arranged in consultation with the General Manager and Executive Chef. Pricing will be based on the specific menu.
- Beverage prices (beer, wine, distilled spirits and non-alcoholic beverages) are not included and will be added on a per-drink basis.
- The deposit/base charge does not include tax or gratuity.
- An 18% gratuity will be added to the pre-tax total of the bill.
- Bastille will not provide separate checks for the party.
- Bastille reserves the right not to accept a private party reservation request if, in the restaurant’s sole discretion, it cannot accommodate the party.
